Now one of the fundamental purposes in reading and studying the Word of God is to find your story in the Bible story. 
“You know everything, You know that I love you.”  John 21:17
“Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go." John 21:18
Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. John 21:1
So here is the key question to begin this year… “Lord, will I choose to follow You, even if it takes me where I don’t want to go?”
“For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
…we will find our highest delight in glorifying Him.
